About
Command Service
The Bluespring Command Service is a stand-alone Service which exposes Commands to a computer as a Web Service, allowing you to use the Invoice Web Service Activity to initiate Commands. Effectively, the Command Service allows you to emulate a Command Prompt in a BPM5 Process, so you can execute Batch Files or automate actions you might normally use a Command Prompt to perform.
In order to automate Commands, you must first install the Command Service. Instructions for installing the Command Service can be found in the
Installation Guide
. The Topics listed below describe the various Web Service Methods and Parameters for the Command Service, as well as a description for using BPM5's Invoke Web Service Activity to call the Command Service within a Process.
