Adding a Callout to a Process

 

To add a callout to your process, complete the following steps:

1. Check out and open the process.
   
   
2. In the Toolbox pane, click BPM. A list of activities is displayed.
   
   
3. Double-click or drag the Annotation into the process.  Because an Annotation does not perform any action at runtime, you can not connect it to other Activities in your Process.  The Annotation exists only as a callout within BPM Designer, to help describe your Process to other Users.
   
   
4. Double-click the Annotation to open its properties.  Provide values for Name and Description and click [OK].  The value for the Description appears within the Annotation in your Process's design.
