BPM5 Documentation - Update Specific Group LDAP Entries

To update specific group LDAP entries, complete the following steps:

Check out and open the process.
In the Toolbox pane, click Active Directory. A list of activities is displayed.
Double-click or drag the Update LDAP Entries activity into the process.
Link the activity appropriately with other activities in the process.
Right-click the Update LDAP Entries activity. A shortcut menu is displayed.
Select View Properties. The Update LDAP Entries window is displayed.
Click the Directory and Entry Type tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
In the LDAP Directory field, click the System Resource editor icon. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select the appropriate system resource. The resource name is displayed in the field.

Note:

If your system resource contains a data item in the Design-Time section, click Configuration values and enter a valid connection string for design-time, configuration purposes.
In the Entry type field, click the drop-down arrow. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select the Entry type editor icon. The selected editor icon is displayed next to the drop-down arrow.
Click the Entry type editor icon and select Group.
Click the Update Criteria tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the criteria you want to use to update specific group LDAP entries from the following:

    Update entries that meet all of the following criteria
    Update entries that meet one or more of the following criteria
    Update entries that do not meet any of the following criteria
    Update entries that do not meet one or more of the following criteria

In the Entry attribute field, select the appropriate input field list editor. By default, the LDAP Attribute List editor icon is displayed.

Note:

If you want to enter attributes not considered standard, then use the literal value editor. When using the literal value, the value is not case sensitive, so you can use samaccountname to retrieve the sAMAccountName.

Select or type the appropriate attribute which you want to map with data items or a literal value. The selected attribute and its data type are displayed in the respective fields.
In the Filter condition field, click the drop-down arrow and select an operator to use for the criteria you want to apply.
In the Value to filter on field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value which corresponds to the data type.

Note:

When using the literal value, the value is not case sensitive, so you can use samaccountname to retrieve the sAMAccountName.

Note:

You can add more criteria by clicking the plus sign (+). Use the minus sign (-) to remove a criterion.
Click OK. You configured the activity to update specific group LDAP entries.
