About
To create a SharePoint group and add all authenticated users to the group, complete the following steps:
Check out and open the process you want to edit.
In the
Toolbox
pane, click
Microsoft SharePoint
. A list of activities is displayed.
Double-click or drag the
Create SharePoint Group
activity into the process.
Link the activity appropriately with other activities in the process.
Right-click the
Create SharePoint Group
activity. A shortcut menu is displayed.
Select
View Properties
. The
Create SharePoint Group
window is displayed.
Click the
SharePoint Site
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
In the
SharePoint site in which to create group
field, click the
System Resource editor
icon. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select the appropriate SharePoint system resource in which you want to create the group.
Note:
If your system resource contains a data item, click
Configuration values
and enter a valid URL and credentials for design-time, configuration purposes.
Click the
Group Settings
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
In the
New Group
section, complete the following:
a.
Group name
: Select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is a name of the new group.
b.
Group description
: Select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is a description of the new group.
c.
Group owner
: Select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the display name of the group owner.
Click the
Group Permissions Level
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
In the
Permissions Levels
field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the relevant permission for the group.
Click the
Group Members
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the
Add All Authenticated Users
option.
Click
OK
. You configured the activity to create a SharePoint group and add all authenticated users to the group.
