About
The CRM 2011 System Resource is used to create a connection to a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 implementation. Once created, the connection can be used by the Receive CRM 2011 Event to initiate a process when a CRM 2011 event occurs. Additionally, this system resource can also be used to add, edit, or remove CRM 2011 entities.
To create a CRM 2011 System Resource, complete the following steps:
Check out the solution.
Click the
Create
tab. The
Solution Items
ribbon menu is displayed.
Click
New Resource
. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select
CRM System 2011 Resource
. The
CRM System 2011 Resource
window is displayed.
In the
CRM 2011 System Resource name
field, type a name for the new CRM 2011 resource.
In the
Crm Url
field, type the name of the URL you would like to use as a repository. The format should start with http:// or https://. For example,
http://crm.bluespring.com
.
In the
Organization
field, select an editor and set the field to the name of your organization.
Note:
By default, the organization will appear in the upper right corner of the CRM user interface below your user name.
From the
Credential Type
options, select
Integrated Credentials
or
Define Credentials
.
Note:
If you select
Integrated Credentials
, then you are working in a sandbox environment where you have a server with CRM 2011 and Bluespring BPM 5 installed and you have given the System Account permission to access CRM. If this is not the case, then use
Define Credentials
.
If you select
Define Credentials
, type the appropriate username, password, and domain, in the corresponding fields. The
Password
field is encrypted after you save, check in, and close the system resource. The credentials can be made dynamic by using values stored in data items.
Click the save button. You created a new CRM 2011 System Resource.
