You can demote a member in an organization chart.

To demote a member in an organization chart complete the following steps:

Check out the organization chart from which you want to demote a member.
Open the organization chart. The context-sensitive Design tab is displayed.
From the display screen select the member you want to demote.
Click the Demote arrow button from the Actions ribbon menu.
Click the save button. You demoted the member.
