Manually Determine which Data Items to Populate with CRM 2011 Attribute Values

To manually determine which data items to populate with CRM 2011 attribute values, complete the following steps:
  1. Check out and open the process you want to edit.

  2. Open the Retrieve CRM 2011 Records activity that you previously configured and now want to edit.

  3. Click the Data Mapping tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.

  4. Select the Store Results in Data Items check box.

    Note:
    If you expect to receive multiple records, based on your filter criteria, select the Collection Data Item check box and then select the corresponding collection data item.


  5. Select the Manually Map Data Items to Attributes check box.

  6. In the Data Item field, click the Data Item editor icon. A drop-down list is displayed.

  7. Select the solution or process data item to which you want to map attributes.

  8. In the Value field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that you want to map to the data item.

    Note:
    You can add more mappings by clicking the plus sign (+). Use the minus sign (-) to remove a mapping.


  9. Click OK. You configured the activity to manually determine which data items to populate with CRM 2011 attribute values.
