Populate CRM 2011 Attributes with Data Item Values, Expression Results or Literal Values

To populate CRM 2011 attributes with data item values, expression results, literal values, or date and time values, complete the following steps:
  1. Check out and open the process you want to edit.

  2. Open the Create CRM 2011 Records activity that you previously configured and now want to edit.

  3. Click the Attribute Mapping tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.

    Note:
Select the Show required attributes only check box, if you want only the required attributes to be listed in the Attribute field.

  4. In the Attribute field, click the CRM 2011 Attribute editor icon. A drop-down list of attributes is displayed.

  5. Select the appropriate attribute. The selected attribute’s name and the corresponding data type are displayed in the respective fields.

  6. In the Value field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value you want to map to the attribute.

    Note:
Add more mappings by clicking the plus sign (+) until you have mapped all of the required fields for the selected entity. Use the minus sign (-) to remove a mapping.

  7. To add additional, option attributes, unselect the Show required attributes only and map additional attributes to values using the same actions in steps 5-7.

  8. Click OK. You configured the activity to populate CRM 2011 attributes with data item values, expression results, literal values, or date and time.
