BPM5 Documentation - Populate a Data Item with the Name of the SharePoint Group’s Owner

To populate a data item with the name of the SharePoint group’s owner, complete the following steps:

Check out and open the process you want to edit.
In the Toolbox pane, click Microsoft SharePoint. A list of activities is displayed.
Double-click or drag the Retrieve SharePoint Group activity into the process.
Link the activity appropriately with other activities in the process.
Right-click the Retrieve SharePoint Group activity. A shortcut menu is displayed.
Select View Properties. The Retrieve SharePoint Group window is displayed.
Click the SharePoint Group tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
In the SharePoint Site in Which Group Exists field, click the System Resource editor icon. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select the appropriate SharePoint system resource in which the group exists.

Note:

If your system resource contains a data item, click Configuration values and enter a valid URL and credentials for design-time, configuration purposes.
In the Group to Retrieve field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the name of the group.
Click the Settings to Retrieve tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the Retrieve Group Owner check box. The corresponding field is enabled.
In the Retrieve Group Owner field, click the Data Item editor icon and select the data item in which the group’s owner name is stored.
Click OK. You configured the activity to populate a data item with the name of the SharePoint group’s owner.
