Remove Users from a SharePoint Group

To remove users from a SharePoint group, complete the following steps:
  1. Check out and open the process you want to edit.

  2. In the Toolbox pane, click Microsoft SharePoint. A list of activities is displayed.

  3. Double-click or drag the Update SharePoint Group activity into the process.

  4. Link the activity appropriately with other activities in the process. 

  5. Right-click the Update SharePoint Group activity. A shortcut menu is displayed.

  6. Select View Properties. The Update SharePoint Group window is displayed.

  7. Click the SharePoint Group tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.

  8. In the Site in Which Group to Update Exists field, click the System Resource icon. A drop-down list is displayed.

  9. Select the appropriate SharePoint system resource to update.

    Note:
    If your system resource contains a data item, click Configuration values and enter a valid URL and credentials for design-time, configuration purposes.


  10. In the Group to Update field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the name of the group.

  11. Click the Add or Remove Group Members tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.

  12. Select the Remove Users from the Group check box. The corresponding fields are enabled.

  13. Select the Remove selected users from the group option.

  14. In the Remove selected users from the group field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is an authenticated user.

    Note:
    Add more users to be removed from the site, by clicking the plus sign (+) until you have added all of the required users. Click the minus sign (-) to remove a user to be removed from the site.


  15. Click OK. You configured the activity to remove users from a SharePoint group.
