The Stations worksheet shows time, utilization, throughput, and cost statistics for each of the named stations identified and for the nodes in the process map assigned to each named station.
A named station is a group of activities that have a common queue and compete for a common resource set. Consider the activities ‘paint truck’, ‘paint car’ and ‘paint wagon’ all compete for the common resources in the paint booth; the paint booth would be the named station and the ‘paint truck’, ‘paint car’ and ‘paint wagon’ activity nodes would all have a StationName attribute value ‘Paint Booth’. The Stations worksheet would be used to assess the performance of the Paint Booth.
