Adding Calculation Sibling Elements to a Child Element

To add a sibling to a child, complete the following steps:

  1. Check out and open the data model you want to edit.

  2. In the Data Model window, right-click the child element to which you want to add a sibling element. A shortcut menu is displayed.

  3. Select Add Sibling. A shortcut menu is displayed.

  4. Select Add Child and then select Calculation Element. The new calculation sibling element is displayed at the same level as the selected child element.

  5. Click the new calculation element.

  6. In the Properties section, type the calculation element’s expression using other elements in the data model.

    Note:
    You can also use solution data items in the calculation.


  7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 to add more child elements to the existing child. 

  8. Click the save button. You added a calculation sibling element to the child in a data model.
