Create Database Records

 

You can create a database record using the Create Database Records activity in your BPM process. In order to create a database record you will need an ODBC System Resource configured in your solution.

Using the Create Database Records activity, you can complete the following actions:

• Writing a New Record to a Database Table
• Writing Multiple Records to a Database Table
• Rolling Back and Removing New Records when an Error Occurs
• Saving the Identity of a New Database Record to a Data Item
• Automatically Determining which Columns to Populate with Data Item Values
• Manually Detemining which Columns to Populate with Data Item Values, Expression Results, or Literal Values
