About
In order to create a server connection for the Receive File Monitor Activity it is vital that you create a File Monitor Service System Resource. The File Monitor System Resource is used by the the Bluespring File Monitor Service. This resource is used by the Receive File Monitor Event, which is one of BPM 5’s initiators.
To create a new File Monitor Service system resource, complete the following steps:
Check out the solution.
Click the
Create
tab. The
Solution Items
ribbon menu is displayed.
Click
New Resource
. A drop-down list is displayed.
Select
File Monitor Service System Resource
. The
File Monitor Service System Resource
window is displayed.
In the
File Monitor Service System Resource name
field, type a name for the new File Monitor Service resource.
In the
File Monitor Service Machine Name
field, type the name of the server hosting your File Monitor Service.
Note:
You cannot use the server's Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). Enter the name of the server, not the path to the server on the domain.
Click the save button. You created a new File Monitor Service system resource.
