About
To manually determine which attributes to populate with data item values, complete the following steps:
Check out and open the process.
Open the Create LDAP Entries activity that you previously configured and now want to edit.
Click the
Data Mappings: Create Entries
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the
Manually Map Data Items to Attributes
check box.
In the
Entry attribute
field, select the appropriate input field editor. By default, the
LDAP Attribute List editor
icon is displayed.
Note:
If you want to enter attributes that are not considered standard, then use the literal value editor. When using the literal value, the value is not case sensitive, so you can use samaccountname to retrieve the sAMAccountName.
Select or type the LDAP entry attribute you want to populate. The selected attribute’s name and its data type are displayed in the respective fields.
In the
Value to write
field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that you want to map to the attribute.
Note:
When using the literal value, the value is not case sensitive, so you can use samaccountname to retrieve the sAMAccountName.
Note:
You will need to understand what type of value the corresponding attribute requires. To learn about the value required, please contact your LDAP provider.
Click
OK
. You configured the activity to manually determine which attributes to populate with data item values.
