Protect a Worksheet by Setting a Password to Edit Worksheet Cells

To protect a worksheet by setting a password to edit worksheet cells, complete the following steps:
  1. Check out and open the process you want to edit.

  2. Open the Write Excel Workbook activity that you previously configured and now want to edit. 

  3. Click the Output File Protection tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.

  4. From the Worksheet Protection Settings options, select Save worksheet as protected.

  5. In the Worksheet field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the name of the worksheet.

  6. In the Password field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the password to read from worksheet.

  7. Click OK. You configured the activity to protect a worksheet by setting a password to edit worksheet cells.
