To schedule a process to start at a recurring interval of time, complete the following steps:
- Check out and open the process you want to edit.
- In the Toolbox pane, click Process Initiation. A list of initiators is displayed.
- Double-click or drag the Scheduled Start activity into the process.
- Right-click the Scheduled Start activity. A shortcut menu is displayed.
- Select View Properties. The Scheduled Start window is displayed.
- Click the Scheduled Initiator tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
- From the Scheduled Initiator fields, select Recurring. The corresponding options are enabled.
- Select the frequency (Hour/Min, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) at which you want the start of process to recur and select the options for the frequency of interval that you want to apply.
- In the Start Time field, click the numeric spinners and adjust the value to a time at which you want the process to start for the given frequency.
- In the Range of recurrence section, complete the following:
a. In the Start field, click the drop-down arrow and select the date on which you want the schedule to become active.
b. Select when you want to end the process recurrence from the following:
- No end date: The process will not stop following the frequency defined until a new schedule is published
- End after: The process will stop following the frequency defined after the selected number of occurrences
- End by: The process will stop following the frequency defined by the selected date
11. Click OK. You configured the activity to schedule a process to start at a recurring interval of time.
