Adding Group or User Access to a Solution

You can add a group or a user to the list of those who are able to access the solution. The permissions of these users or groups can be modified once they are added to the list.

To add group or user access to a solution, complete the following steps:

  1. Check out the solution.
     
  2. Click Solution Properties from the Home tab. The Set Item Properties window is displayed.
     
  3. Click the Security tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
     
  4. Click Add. The Select Users and Groups  window is displayed.
     
  5. Type or find the user or group that you want to add to the list of those able to access the solution
     
    Note:
    If you type in the name of the group or user, then click Check Names to confirm that the name(s) exists.

      
  6. Click OK. You added a group or user to the list of those able to access the solution.
