Solutions can be secured so only specific users in an organization can view and edit solutions in BPM Designer and BPM Admin.
The available permissions that can be associated with users for each solution:
- Solution Owner
Indicates the one owner of a solution with full access to the solution.
- Change user permissions
Allows the User to change the permissions for other Users for a Solution. A User with this permission is automatically granted both the "View solution and solution items in BPM Designer" and "Edit solution and solution items in BPM Designer" permissions.
- View solution and solution items in BPM Designer
Allows the User to view a Solution and its Solution Items within BPM Designer. A User with this permission may only view a solution and must have the "Edit solution and solution items in BPM Designer" permission to update a Solution's or Solution Item's configuration.
- Edit solution and solution items in BPM Designer
Allows the User to Edit the Solution and its Solution Items within BPM Designer. A User with this permission is automatically granted the "View solution and solutoin items in BPM Designer" permission.
- View processes in BPM Admin
Allows a User to investigate the progress of running Processes for this Solution within BPM Admin.
- Cancel and restart processes in BPM Admin
Allows a User to right-click and restart or cancel a running Process for this Solution within BPM Admin.
