Creating an Internal Template

You can create a template to an existing solution.

To create an internal template, complete the following steps:
  1. Check out the solution.

  2. Click the Create tab. The Solution Items ribbon menu is displayed.

  3. Select New Document Template. The Document Templates and Properties ribbon menus are displayed. The Document Template screen is displayed.

    Note:
In the Properties ribbon menu, Location Internal is selected by default.

You can also create a template by clicking New Template and selecting the appropriate template type.

  4. In the Document Template name field, type a name for your template.

    Note:
If you want to add a description, click the drop-down arrow against the document name. The Description field is displayed. You can now type a description.

  5. Click the Import File button. The Select file screen is displayed.

    Note:
BPM supports all extensions, but you will typically only want to import Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft InfoPath, and Adobe PDF files, because those are documents supported by the Bluespring activities.

  6. Select the required template and click Open. The document template details are displayed in the workspace.

  7. Click the save button. You created an internal document template.
