To delete a SharePoint Task when its process instance is cancelled, complete the following steps:

Check out and open the process you want to edit.
Open the Assign SharePoint Task activity that you previously configured and now want to edit.
Click the Data Mappings tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
From the Delete Task section, select the Delete when cancelled check box.
Click OK. You configured the activity to delete a SharePoint list item when its process instance is cancelled.
