Setting List Item Security

 

List Permissions:

• Add Items
• Edit Items
• Delete Items
• View Items
• Open Items
• View Versions

Site Permissions:

• Manage Permissions
• Browse Directories
• View Pages
• Enumerate Permissions
• Browse User Information
• Open

Note:

For information on creating a custom Permission Level, please read the Manage permission levels article from Microsoft.

1. Open and check out the process you want to edit.
    
2. Double-click or open the Assign SharePoint Task activity that you previously configured.
    
3. Click the Data Mappings tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
    
4. From the List Item Security, click the Use SharePoint persmissions to securre list item check box.
    
5. Click either the Do not copy additional permissions to secure list item or Copy additional permissions option.
   
   

   Note:

   If you choose Do not copy additional permissions to secure list item, then solely the user or group that the task is assigned to has the permissions to modify the task.  If you choose Copy additional permissions, then those that are not assigned the task also has the permissions to modify the task.

   
     
6. Click OK. You set the list item security in the Assign SharePoint Task activity.
