About
To manually determine which PDF form fields to populate with data item values, expression results, or literal values when writing values to PDF form fields, complete the following steps:
Check out and open the process you want to edit.
Open the Populate PDF Form activity in the process that you previously configured and now want to edit.
Click the
Data Mapping
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the
Manually Map Values to Form Fields
check box.
In the
Value to write
field, select the
Data Item
,
Expression
, or
Literal Value editor
and set the field to a value that corresponds with the data type.
Note:
Calculation data items are read-only. You cannot edit this type of data item.
In the
Form
field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to the value that is a Form field in the PDF.
Note:
To map more forms click the plus sign (+) and repeat steps 5 and 6. If you want to remove a column mapping, click the minus sign (−).
Click
OK
. You manually determined which forms to populate with data item values, expression results, or literal values.
Note:
If you also configured the automatic mapping, then any manual mappings will override the automatic mappings the Process Engine determines need to be mapped.
