If the PDF document you want to populate is password protected you must specify the password for opening the file or editing the file or both. The process engine will use that password to open and populate the PDF.
To set the password required by the PDF for the Process Engine to open and populate the PDF, complete the following steps:
Check out and open the process you want to edit.
Open the
Populate PDF Form
activity in which you want to set the password.
Click the
Security
tab. The corresponding screen is displayed.
Select the
Document Open Password
check box.
In the
Document Open Password
field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the password to open the PDF.
Select the
Permission Password
check box.
In the
Permission Password
field, select the appropriate input field editor and set the field to a value that is the password to edit the PDF.
Click
OK
. You specified the password required by the PDF, for the Process Engine to open and populate the PDF.
