LeanView will automatically draw a Value Added Timeline
With LeanView, a value timeline can be automatically drawn to provide visual indication of value added and non-value added time in the value stream path.
To use LeanView to build a VA/NVA Timeline, drag and drop a Timeline Total shape from the General Stencil onto the LeanView drawing canvas.
Right-click on the shape and select ‘Total Timeline Properties’.
Select the Value Path for which the timeline is to be constructed; choose the time units that should be used to display the Total NVA and Total VA time values, and click 'Draw Timeline'.
Once a value timeline is drawn, selection of timeline components highlights the shape(s) to which the VA Bar and NVA Bar shape data is linked. If changes are made to the shape properties that impact the VA or NVA time, the timeline values will be updated automatically.
