Setting a Task to be Due after a Specific Duration

To set a task to be due after a specific period of time, complete the following steps:
  1. From the Solution Explorer, check out the assignment profile.

  2. Open the assignment profile.

  3. Click the Due Date tab. The Due Date, Escalations, and Overdue action options are displayed.

  4. Select the Due Date check box. The Due Date fields are enabled.

  5. Select Due after. The Due after field is enabled.

  6. In the Due after field, select an editor and set the field to a static or dynamic value that indicates the number of days you want the user to have to complete the task to be due.

  7. Click the save button. You set a task to be due after a specific period of time.
