Process and Activity Monitoring

You will use BPM Admin for process and activity monitoring to view the current state of process and activity instances in your runtime environments. Additionally, BPM Admin allows you to restart and cancel processes and activities.

Workspaces
BPM applications and services use the Workspace Service to get information from the Workspace database.
Processes
Processes bring together the solution items and activities in your solution to manage a business process. You model your processes based on your organization’s unique business process requirements. By default, a process provides you with Start and End activities. You then graphically define the steps that fall between those two points.

Activities
Activities allow the performance of various actions in a process.

Activity Monitor Filter
The activity monitor filter removes processes from the list of processes that do not meet the filter criteria. The user-specific filters are stored on your computer and belong to the runtime environment in which you added the filter.

By default, you will see two filters in BPM Admin All and Today. All shows all, non-cancelled processes. Today shows all, non-cancelled processes started today.

User Parameters
You may create parameters that allow Users to further look for specific process instances within an activity monitor filter.
